As a Receptive (Inbound) Tour Operator, AgriTours Canada Inc. provides complete tour planning, programs, itineraries, and services for groups coming into Canada and the United States. As an Outbound Tour Operator, we produce specialized agricultural tours, for agri-businesses to locations throughout North America as well as countries such as Brazil, Chile, Argentina, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy and many other countries in Europe.
Company History
Company president Richard Buck, B.A. (Waterloo) Dipl, Ag (University of Guelph), has more than 28 years' experience in agriculture and tourism. After producing specialty agricultural tours for the Centre of International Programs at the University of Guelph Office (OAC Dean's Office), for Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and four other tour companies, he started AgriTours Canada Inc. His partner Barbara Buck has worked within the company serving various roles for the last 10 years, and is an integral part of this family business. Gerda Matheson is Office Manager and a tour planner with many years of experience and has been part of the team for many years and is invaluable to the programming of AgriTours Canada. Hans Kaiser is an experienced tour director as well as working with international marketing and has worked with Richard and Barbara for over 14 years.

Wherever possible, special events such as the Farm Progress Show, Tulare Farm Show, the Calgary Stampede, Agribition, the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, Canada's Outdoor Farm Show, the International Plowing Match etc., are included in tour packages.
We're pleased that the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, has designated us an official supplier of tours, hotel accommodation and visitor day trips to the Royal. AgriTours Canada manages the International Business Centre, hosting more than 2,000 visitors annually to the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair.
